Shoot-A-Thon Fundraiser
SHOOT-A-THON
Our Shoot-A-Thon fundraiser is our big fundraiser of the year - we require everyone involved from 3rd Grade to 12th Grade to participate! We ask that your son(s) go out and try to get a minimum of $50 pledged to the Ozaukee Boys Basketball Program. We understand that if you have more than one son in the program that it is more difficult - we ask that you do what you can!
Every year we try to get each team in at least 3-4 tournaments, however, there are some grade levels that will get into around 10. Each tournament is an average cost of about $140. It is our intent that we not hound you to pay for certain things - that is what we fundraise for and that is why the Shoot-A-Thon is so important! We need your support and effort for this fundraiser. We need all players who participate in our program to participate in this fundraiser! To give you an idea, from the Varsity right on down to the 3rd Grade we got into 38 tournaments/leagues last year and we spent $5,575 on those entrance fees! That is a minimum number that we have to raise every year because we have many more costs during the year for a 3rd Grade - through - Varsity Program.
WHEN?: Saturday, January 10th, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
WHERE?: Report to the High School Gym.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY?: Go out and get as many pledges as you can before January 10th, or before you shoot your free-throws. Then, shoot your 100 free-throws and go collect your pledges from people that sponsored you money. Finally, turn in your amount to your coach to give to me, or straight to Coach Ketterhagen, or the high school office who will get it to me.
WHY?: You get to play in tournaments where you won't have to pay any part of. You get a really cool T-shirt from that year with the names of the individuals who shot the best on the back of it. You get to give back to the program and help other grade levels get into tournaments!
QUESTIONS?: Contact your coach, or feel free to contact me directly.
